We formulate targeted exercise plans specific to each pet’s condition and level of fitness. We focus on strengthening the muscles needed to maintain or improve function. We also work on balance, range of motion, and awareness of foot placement. To accomplish this, we use many different modalities in the gym such as cavalettis, weave cones, p-nuts, dyna discs, wobble boards, fit bones, tension bands, and obstacle courses. Home exercise plans will be given to clients as well. We pick the appropriate exercise and provide videos so you know you will be doing it correctly. We are happy to demonstrate for you during your pet’s session as well.
Annie is working on stretching and strengthening her back and hind limbs using our p-nut and dyna disc. Building up her core strength can help to reduce further injury.
